Details
Designed for permanent applications it can be moved at a later date unlike the traditional tarmac sleeping policeman.
The Polymax speed ramps are made out of SBR rubber that is more durable and long lasting than plastic speed bump equivalents, with arrow design to aid viability
They are designed to be used to reduce traffic speeds on roads and car parks.
There two types of fixing bolts available one for concrete and the rubber nut type for tarmac.
What are Speed Ramps?
Speed Humps prevent speeding in certain road sections that require slow driving speeds, and restrict the entrance of cars to residential areas or school districts.
Where should Speed Ramps be installed?
1. In places that require cars to reduce speed, e.g., near schools, kindergartens, children’s playgrounds, neighbourhood parks, and secondary roads.
2. On roads that do not differentiate between walkways and driveways, and where there is an increased danger of traffic accidents because there are many pedestrians or children playing.
3. Near housing complexes, neighbourhood shopping facilities, schools, hospitals, and religious facilities that have many passing cars and require speed restrictions.
4. Near the parking lot entrances of apartments, shopping centres, and large buildings.
