OEM Account Manager

OEM Account Manager

Salary: £23k to £29k

Location: Bordon, Hampshire

Eligibility: Must have a right to full time employment in the UK

Working hours: Monday to Friday (8am to 5:15pm).


About Us:

Based near Petersfield in Bordon, Polymax Ltd is part of an international group that has been at the forefront of manufacturing and distributing rubber products since 1970. We are looking for an OEM Account Manager to join our friendly sales team, in our recently refurbished modern office.

This is suitable for an experienced OEM Account Manager, Sales Engineer, Internal Sales Engineer, Account Manager or Supply Chain Coordinator with a background in manufacturing, engineering or distributing.

Requirements:

  • Good A-levels or degree qualified
  • Ideally working within the engineering or manufacturing industries
  • Demonstrable experience (2 years and above) of managing customer accounts (with a requirement of technical products
  • Some experience of supply chain management
  • Demonstrable experience (at least 1 year) of dealing with product quality control documentation like PPAP, ISIR etc
  • Positive and motivated individual with a strong customer focus
  • Meticulous, thorough with attention to detail
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing all aspects (sales/supply) of technical OEM customer accounts
  • Appropriate submission of formal quotation and quality documentation as per the customers requirements
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers to ensure consistency of supply
  • Identify commercial/technical risks and introduce processes to mitigate them
  • Ensure compliance with ISO management system and seek continuous improvement opportunities
  • Stakeholder management
