Details

Polymax VIBTEC is a technical grade cork sheet made of a highly compressible material bounded by Nitrile rubber, in a rusty red colour. VIBTEC is suitable for low or medium bolt pressure with good flexibility and resilience, it also offers a wide temperature range and stress resistance. It is great for noise and vibration control and has excellent oil and fuel resistance. Easy installation as it avoids anchor bolts and will lead to no floor damage.


VIBTEC is a more expensive cork, compared to the Polymax ABACUS which is the more economical cork we sell. VIBTEC compared to ABACUS has a lower compressible medium density cork and rubber material for noise and vibration control. VIBTEC’s binder is Nitrile and as a result the volume doesn’t change as much as ABACUS, which has a binder of Neoprene, when immersed in the different types of oils and fuels. This means that VIBTEC has excellent oil and fuel resistance compared to ABACUS.
